The follow-up to "Ugly," "Itch" was a little less experimental, and revolved more around a core band, which was made up of my bandmates from 389, rather than the community of people associated with the folk scene that had played on "Ugly." There's a harder edge to "Four Walls and a Ceiling" and "Big Empty House" than there was to the similarly bluesy material on "Ugly." "Building Tinseltown" and "The One About the Clown" are favourites of mine from this collection.
